PS3:

  • Red Dead Redemption – Daily – AKA Grand Theft Pony. Somehow the western setting is more immersive for me than any of the modern setting GTA titles. The plot has a few typical forced RP breaks (what if I DON’T want to steal that fucking horse?), but so far Rockstar manages to pack a compelling story into the plot missions that doesn’t feel like a two-path, GvE trope traipse.
  • Rock Band – 1-3hrs Daily – Full Expert Singing, ~95% Hard Drumming , and BTW, would you fuckers out there please pick your band name and do your gear shopping before you join the multi-player queue? Thanks. Douchebags.

PSP:

  • Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker – Near Daily – Stealth mission games are amazingly tailored to bathroom playing, just saying.

PC/MAC:

  • WoW – 2-4hrs/week – The Panther Modern crown is mine again. Now to make plans for our mayhem in Cata.
  • Dragon Age: Origins – Twice Weekly – It’s still awesome, even if that bard won’t sleep with me, dammit.
  • Civilization: Colonization – Twice Weekly – Because every young gamer should know how to build a sanitized triangle trade.

PS3:

  • Dragon Age: Origins – Daily – This is the version my GF plays, and I pretty much watch it flow by. She likes the more action oriented style of the console version.
  • Rock Band – 1-3hrs Daily – Full Expert Singing, ~95% Hard Drumming (that’s what SHE said), patiently waiting for RB3 with vocal harmonies, realerer drums and OMG STRINGS ON GUITARS!

PSP:

  • Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker – Daily – Wow. I never thought aiming with the buttons would be so good. Hideo-san gets paid for a reason, folks.

PC/MAC:

  • WoW – 2-4hrs/week – I quit the PvE guild. Drama and in-fighting just made everything, even the small successes, not worth the time or effort. I’m laying low until Cataclysm.
  • Dragon Age: Origins – Daily – This is the version I’m playing, taking full advantage of the richer tactical options available with mouse and keys.

As always, if you think a platform is missing, by all means, send one to me.

PS3:

  • Final Fantasy XIII – Semi Weekly – Chapter 7-ish, I found out how to grind in this game, so things hit a wall, progress-wise, still mining fun out of the combat system
  • Rock Band – 1-3hrs Daily – Full Expert Singing, ~95% Hard Drumming (that’s what SHE said)

PSP:

  • Final Fantasy Crisis Core – Daily – “Stagger” mechanic introduced in this game so I had to review it, also enjoying the materia fusion aspect and the hard grind to complete them

PC/MAC:

  • WoW – 12-20hrs/week – Kingslayer Mage, 8/12 in 25 ICC, Heroic 10 ICC starts tonight
  • Arcanum of Steamworks and Magick Obscura – Semi Weekly – A spiritual successor to Fallout 1 & 2 with steampunk sorcery and ingtrigue instead of post-apocalyptic tech scarcity

If you think a platform is missing, by all means, send one to me.
